Tech Elevator is dedicated to elevating people, communities, and companies. The intensive, in person education provider is determined to help both students and companies become educated on the latest industry trends and skills for a successful modern day technical workforce. The program at Tech Elevator lasts for a total of 14 weeks and is a full-time program. Courses take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. An average day at Tech Elevator begins at 8:30 AM with class review and preparation. Class officially begins at 9:00am with morning lecture and review. Students will practice new concepts and prepare for afternoon coding exercises. Students then break for lunch at 12:00 PM. At 1:00 PM, students participate in group work and practice pair programming. At 3:00 PM, it’s time for personalized tutoring with instructors either one on one or in group sessions. At 4:30 PM, students participate in a Pathway program event where they meet with hiring companies. At 5:30 PM, students wrap up for the day and begin any homework they may have.
Tech Elevator boasts a job placement rate of 94% with students obtaining a median income of $58,000 per year. By the end of the program, students will have a wide variety of projects in their portfolio that showcases their hard earned skills to potential employers. Students will also participate in the Pathways Program to learn the soft skills and career skills needed to succeed in the technical workforce.
The cost of tuition at Tech Elevator is $15,500. Tech Elevator wants to reiterate that their program is a major investment in the student’s education and their future. Tech Elevator has partnerships with major lenders Sallie Mae and Skillsfund. With Sallie Mae specifically, Tech Elevator has partnered with their Career Training Smart Option Student Loan which covers the entire cost of tuition plus up to $5,000 in living expenses if needed. Tech Elevator is also a partner of the Hewbrew Free Loan Organization which offers interest free loans for higher education tuition assistance. Students can apply directly with an organization chapter in the state of their bootcamp. Tech Elevator also encourages students to apply for vocational rehabilitation funds through their state of bootcamp attendance if they are an individual with a disability that is interested in reentering the workforce. Tech Elevator is also a proud acceptor of the GI Bill for higher education funding.
